EU-125 OZ1RDP information

17年間IOTA chasingをやっていましてベランダアンテナの限界を感じていますが、デンマークのIOTA EU-125は毎年狙ってはいますが、いまだに交信できません。毎年このOZ1RDPはボーイスカウトの活動としてこのEU-125 Romo IslandからQRVします。昨年5月にこの信号を21SSBで捕えましたが交信に至りませんでした。

そこで、数回ほどDL9BCP Guenterさんに事情をお話しし、Skedを組めるようお願いしました。2013年の5月初めにメールを送る約束をしていました。5月2日にメール送付しましたところ、昨日下記文章が戻ってきました。有難いです。

Many thanks for your kind e-mail!

Now we stay nearly ready for our next annual Pentecost-radio-activity since

1995 from Kongsmark on Romo-Island, OZFF-004 (EU-125, DIA NS-001). In all we

will be group of about 10-11 people (all German Radio-Scouts) and will run

several stations in time. We will reach the island Friday noon and try to be

on air from 18:00 UTC until Tuesday, 02:00 UTC (some breaks during local

nighttime).

Modes: SSB, PSK31, maybe some CW

Propagation-forecast between EU and JA shows, that contacts on 15m

(excellent), 20m (good) and 40m (maybe) should be possible to realize. Other

bands have to test online during the weekend. How we can give actual

informations to you and your friends during our expedition?

For communication and so on we will put up a temporary (Fri-Tue)

Echolink-Node "OZ1RDP-L", node: 841659. This will be a better solution than

to use p.ex. SKYPE. We have W-LAN Internet present in our camp.

During far-east band-openings we will try to call especially in your

direction! Please QSL only via manager (via bureau). If you have any news,

please let me know.

御礼のメールを送るとともに、Skypeでつなぐことに成功しました。Guenterさんもたいへん紳士的な方で、ただし、Skypeの写真はたいへんごつい感じでした。5月17日からのQRVでSkypeでつないでSkedを実施することにしました。また、当文書はJAの皆様へ配信して欲しいとの許可ももらいました。

全てのリグのテント基地がEcholinkでつながっているそうです。本当はSkypeよりそちらが良いと言っていましたが、Skypeで情報交換しながらSkedを進めることになりました。EU-125は珍しくないかもしれませんがSked希望がありましたら、ご一報ください。
