R3CA/0の次の情報がDX-World.netにUA9OBAから届いた情報で紹介されました。

R3CA/8/9/0 – “The Great Northern Route” 2016TUESDAY APR 12, 2016

NEWS UPDATE – Today, 12th April, the Arctic expedition “Great Northern Route 2016″ headed from Khatanga towards the Laptev Sea with plans to travel east along the coast of Yakutia to Chukotka.

At this stage the call sign R3CA/0 will be used. Along the expedition route will be the activation of several IOTA groups of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) — AS-152, AS-082, AS-163, AS-029, AS-164, AS-070 and further across Chukotka (depending on ice conditions). You watch the track here.

The radio operator of the expedition is Valery, RA9J, and works on frequency 14130 kHz, and from the islands on 14260 (+5 UP). In Tiksi, on April 18th, Yuri Zaruba UA9OBA will deliver IOTA/RRC flags, power amplifier and other accessories and plans to join the expedition.

AS-005、AS-068、AS-104fはR3CA/9の新しい免許上では9エリアに変わります。従来のR0Bエリアでした。このメッセージは次はAS-152, AS-082, AS-163, AS-029, AS-164, AS-070のRepublic of Sakha (Yakutia)の6つのIOTA(従来のR0Qエリア)、そして氷の状態次第ではあるがその次のChukotka(R0Kエリア)へもチャレンジするとあります。

このR0KエリアにはAS-038、AS-174、AS-065、AS-071、AS-092、AS-061、AS-027がありますが、もちろん大陸から離れているAS-061などは行けないと思われます。

R0Qエリアに戻すと、AS-082は昨年7月にR3RRC/0にて実施され、AS-029も9月にUA4WHXによりRI0QV/Pでオンエアがありました。マップにまとめると次の通りです。

R3CA/0チームはAS-152の西側に4月12日までは滞在していることがウエブで確認できています。毎年のようにこのエリアのペディションが実施されることはありがたいです。アンテナがWhipクラスですのでビームアンテナでないとコンタクトは厳しいでしょう。皆様の幸運を祈ります。
