まだ終わっていないOC-216/OC-234

この朝にVK5CE CraigさんがIOTA-chasers Forumに家に戻ってようやくご挨拶を発信してきました。

Hi everyone

I'm back home safe and sound on Hindmarsh Island in VK5. I just received a message from Mike Sr - the two Mikes AB5EB and AD5A have arrived safely in Dallas. A cruel twist of fate meant their flight was late and so after the marathon flying from Broome VK6 to Perth VK6, then Perth to Sydney VK2 and then Sydney to Dallas, they missed their flight to San Antonio - OUCH!!!! They are currently flying to San Antonio now and should be with their loved ones very very soon.

Lots of background work is happening at present answering emails and thank you to all the messages of support. We're in the process now of putting the full story together for those organisations/foundations that are our sponsors. We're also designing the QSL cards, there will be three versions, a direct card for VK9AR, a basic bureau card for VK9AR and a separate card for VK9AR/6. 73s Craig VK5CE PS, while I was away, the blank VK5CE/8 OC198 cards arrived, so I'll start writing the direct QSL requests on the weekend and I hope to get them out and processed over the next 2-3 weeks

なんとtwo Mikes AB5EB and AD5AのCWオペレータを担ったマイク親子が米国テキサス州内の最後のフライトに乗りそこなったとありました。12日(日)早朝にOC-234を実行し13日にBroomeに帰り着き、そこからPearth、Sydneyとオーストラリア大陸を北から南西へ、そして東のシドニーと移動され、そこからテキサス州のDallasへと。

DallasからSan Antonioへの便に乗り継げなかったようですね。私たちJAに住む人間の方がOC-216やOC-234に近いのに、本当にご苦労様と感謝しなければいけません。

QSLカードはOC-216 VK9ARがダイレクト用とビューロー用の2種類、OC-234 VK9AR/6が1種類の計3種類を作るようです。OC-216のダイレクト用はおそらく二つ折りでそれ以外は表裏一面でしょう。VK5CEのQSLingは比較的早いようです。

OC-198 VK5CE/8 North Islandの請求が届いているので今週末に発行されるようです。20年も待ったOC-216 Ashmore ReefのQSLカードが間もなく発行されます。
