Thanks for promoting my last DXpedition to IOTA Oc-172, so next come’s OC-171:


Now that the VK4LDX/P DXpedition to OC-172 is over, I’m happy to announce
another IOTA activation, this time to Magnetic Island OC-171 on December 10-12
2010. This is another little holiday style trip with my understanding XYL
Michelle. It is using the same antenna and proximity to a beach that worked 3617
QSO’s over 7 days on OC-172 last week. The big difference is that this time
there WILL be a short path to North Americaover water and not blocked by a
mountain like OC-172. The short path to JA and Europewill also be directly over
water which worked so well on FitzroyIsland. A blog has started and details will
