NA-048 BIMINI ISLANDS C6AVA #2
>表題の件、K6VVA Rickが再びC6AVAとしてBimini IslandsのNA-048からQRVすることを伝えましたが、再び下記メールをいただきました。NA-054に続いて、多くのJAと交信してくださるようです。
Hi, Shu: Most of my 337 JA QSOs from NA-054 were made daily between 2130 & 2300 UTC (short openings on 17m). The SFI was about 100+ & K=1. Attached is a propagation analysis prediction for C6AVA NA-048 to JA for 12 Jan 2013 with SFI=100 and K=1. Compared to NA-054, it does not appear 17m will be as good. Of course this is a "prediction", and NOT necessarily what will happen. Unfortunately, NA-048 is a "Polar Path" route to JA (like from NA-054), and often polar QSB on signals. 20m may be a better band, and of course 40m during different hours. Some 30m. If SFI & K are worse, this will NOT be good. HOPEFULLY, SFI will be HIGHER and the K Index Low, for more band opening possibilities and better signals from NA-048 to JA. Please, NO SOLAR FLARES !!! Did I send you the attached photo before? I have selected a QTH in NA-048 which is the best possible for JA - over salt water. I did not have this in NA-054, so hopefully much better from NA-048 to JA. Maybe JA IOTA Chasers can pray for GOOD PROPAGATION - hi :-) Pse QSP this info to JA IOTA Chasers. Tnx & 73...
