Hello all,

I got the call DX8DX approved already. Its validity is from 02 April to 31 May 2013.

That means I have ample time to facilitate transportation, which prove to be the most

challenging part of the IOTA activation.

As of now, the latest availability of watercraft that would take me to Bongao, Tawi Tawi is on the 3rd week of April. After about a week of staying there will proceed to Taganak Islands.

This are just part of the plan, as some part of this activity is beyond my control, I couldn't give exact dates, but will inform everyone thru this email of the latest updates.

In lieu of the wire loop antenna, I will be using a 33ft vertical, and maximize grounding or radials. This is to give everyone equal opportunity for a contact. I am studying propagation conditions, and will take advantage of area openings. if needed, I will

call by areas, and will operate split.

CW will be the preferred mode of transmission followed by phone. Sorry, no PSK, RTTY etc mode for the mean time. i will publish operating frequencies in advance to lessen confusion.

I will operate only 100watts as power is limited, but will make sure my setup is optimum(proper grounding), radials, logging software, auto keyer etc.

アンテナが変わるようです。よりパワーアップされそうですね。やる気満々のようです。JAからは実施されれば何の問題も無いと思います。もしよろしければそれぞれ2QSO程度でおさえていただき、EU/NAのIOTA chaserにチャンスを譲って欲しいですね。

まあIOTA Marathonの関係がありますから3バンドQSOまででしょうか。少なくともDXCCのようにオールバンドオールモードは必要ないと思います。ご協力を。
