OC-209 YB8RW/P Kabaruan Island (24-30 May 2014) その2

昨日、YB8RW Dinさんにより表題のオペレーションが下記の通り発表されました。

Scheduled Plan :

24 May - 27 May 2014 (for Kabaruang Isl.)

27 May - 28 May 2014 (for Salibabu Isl.)

28 May - 30 May 2014 (for Sara'a Besar Isl. & Sara'a Kecil isl.)

この朝にチャットを持てました。この島のマップは次の通りです。

北側にフィリピン、南西側の隅にスラウェシ島、その間にOC-210とOC-209が位置しています。そのOC-209をズームインします。

北側の一番大きな島はKararelong Islandです。ここにはYC8UTIが固定局として紹介されました。そのすぐ南側がSalibabu Islandです。この島が今回も交通拠点となります。その南側にタイトルにもなっているKabaruan Islandが位置します。

24日(土)より27日(火)の４日間をこのKabaruan Islandから４日間オペレートします。５月26日(月)がYB8RW Dinさんの50回目の誕生日をここで祝うそうです。そのあと、27日-28日を交通拠点のSalibabu Islandに引き上げてQRVするとありますが、私の予想では27日-30日の間は3つの島の不定期運用ではないかと思います。

上のマップのPalau Salibabuの文字のSalibabuの上に、北からSara'a Kecil IslandとSara'a Besar Islandがあります。(ご参考、Kecil Island=小島、Besar Island=大島) GoogleやGoogle Mapなどで調べましたが、素晴らしい砂浜があるだけで宿泊設備などはないようです。Salibabu Islandからは700メータ、1000メータくらいの距離ですのでモーターボートなどで移動できるようです。

そのため、Salibabu Islandを基地として、Sara'a Besar IslandとSara'a Kecil Islandに適時に移動しQRVすると思われます。YB8RWへの質問の回答は「The islands that I already activation all been there in QRZ.COM, I have prepared beam antenna QRV on and within 5 days of operation on Kabaruan Island and other, I think very short time, please standby on front your radio because I believe that you will definitely exciting because I believe NA, EU, OC will invade ... hopefully the propagation will be good ...」でした。

QRV中にはPlease announce Phonetic Island name when you operate in new Islands. と、お願いしておきました。
