AS-142 Sea of Okhotsk Coast groupを調べる(AS-203の帰路)

AS-203 RT9K/0の運用チームは本日ペトロパブロフスクカムチャッカスキーを出発する予定です。話しは早すぎるかもしれませんが、帰路に位置するAS-142に立ち寄ってサービスすると言っています。そこで、AS-142に関して調べてみました。

オホーツク沿岸グループですのでJAからの交信は容易と思います。クレジット率は12.5%とまずまずレアです。過去にはUA0ZY/Pの1回のみのオペレーションです。QSLカードをチェックしました。

1999年7月にUA0ZYの単独によるオペレーションです。写真にあるボートで移動したようです。7月運用でクレジット率12.5%は、QSOした多くがJAなどの近辺でしょう。16年も実施されていませんのでぜひ実行して欲しいですね。

IOTA Directory上では名称は「Sea of Okhotsk Coast group」とグループ名で、島は「Kambal'nyy」のみです。ウィキペディアには次のように記載してありました。

Kambalny Island

Orkhost Sea

Kambalny Island is located in the south east of the Peninsula, near Kambalny cape, in Orkhost Sea.

This island, mostly made of rocks and close to sea level, rises to 27 meters in its central part. The island is part of the South Kamchatka Federal Reserve.

It is the home of 4 seabird species including 400 couples of tufted puffins. The Island used to be called Toporkov, the Russian name of the birds. It also welcomes many sea-otters. From the 19th century the Itelmens hunted the animals. In 1923, the otters were declared a protected species. The north part of the island is the home of 200 to 300 dotted seals.

島名は「Kambal'nyy」、「Kambalny」、「Toporkov」と表現されていますがすべて同じ島です。続いて地図です。

赤枠はペトロパブロフスクカムチャッカスキーです。黄色サークルを拡大したのがしたの地図です。約150kmくらいです。

本当に小さな島です。ズームインしたらボケますのでここまでにします。他にも海岸沿いに島らしき影を見つけることができます。ほとんどが自然のままですのでGooglemapでは詳細に見ることができませんでした。左下は占守海峡です。
