Hi fellow IOTA-holics. Happy new year to you all.

Bob KD1CT and Cezar VE3LYC are already in Invercargill NZ. Stan SQ8X and I will meet in Sydney airport tomorrow before flying to Invercargil tomorrow night.

All going to plan so far. I spent hours today washing my clothes in a special type of disinfectant and then packing them in clear sealed plastic bags all labelled for the Department of Conservation quarantine inspection. We have had to do an amazing amount of preparation in terms of time and money to pass quarantine. I've even bought new boots for the trip to ensure no bacteria or dirt are on them. This needs to be done so the team makes a good impression on DOC to represent the hobby.

After weighing my gear I'm predicting an excess baggage bill of $900. I find out tomorrow.

I'm at a hotel in Adelaide at 530pm local, my flight is at 6am so I'll check in at 4am. I'm assuming no sleep tonight 😨😨😨😨😨

一昨日に突然にCraigよりメールが届きました。3月実施のOC-243 Breaksea IslandのPR依頼でした。昨年の数々のVK-IOTAペディション並びにAS-119 S79Cへの参加、そして今回のZL9Aと相当資金投入をしているし、実行を考え直しているイメージがありましたので、JA friendsの皆様にニーズしらべをさせていただきました。その旨も本人に伝えました。

このIOTA-chasers Forum投稿の少し前に２回目のメールをCraigよりいただきました。ぜひ、ZL9Aで皆さんと交信したいと書いてありましたが、主にハイバンドの15mと10mを担当し、JAと北米西海岸を中心にサービスしたいとのことです。

順調にZL9Aのプランは進んでいるようです。
